Cold rolled coils and sheets
Cold rolled material is used in automotive, as well as for domestic appliances: metallic furniture, radiators, pipes, small profiles, storage or pressure recipients etc.
With an excellent formability, colled rolled coils and sheets generally have low carbon content so that they can be used for bending purposes or cold forming and it can be purchased in coils, sheets and strips. The cold rolled coils are the result of a continuous rolling process agains a lower temperature in comparison with hot rolled material, 450⁰C respectively.
The cold rolled coils and sheets are delivered in oiled and skin-passed condition so that both surfaces are protected against any atmosferical effects. This way, optimum conditions can be conserved for further future processing stages. The European standard EN 10130 clearly reveals recommendations for chemical composition, mechanical properties and the EN 10131 specifically regulates the surface condition status, sizes and tolerances admitted etc.

Quality | DC 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 Different grades from DC01→DC07 refer to drawing properties of material. The grade is given by the chemical composition, carefull stages of production in lower temperature, pickeling&annealing&skin-passed stages, but totally relevant should we consider a various elongation grade between 28-40% corresponding to DC 01→ DC 07. Various combination of plasticity and &strength may rich a value of 150 MPa in case of DC07. |
